Dr Eller earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003 from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) in Tempe, AZ. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Douglass College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

Her post-doctoral trainings include intensives and coursework from the New England School of Homeopathy, School of Evolutionary Herbalism, and the American Herbalists Guild. Her functional medicine training has been largely through the American Association of Restorative Medicine.

Dr Eller is a current member of the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine Institute and American Association of Restorative Medicine.

Dr. Ellers training and major influences include vitalist stream of naturopathic medicine, scientific based medicine theory (biochemistry and nutrition, western anatomy and physiology, cellular biology) homeopathic philosophy and practice (including classical, and a wide range of methodologies), botanical medicine (Eclectic and other), medical astrology, anthroposophical medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. One of her biggest influences and teachers has been her son who has autism.

Dr Eller synthesizes her education and clinical experience into a unique way of understanding the causes and potential curative remedies for each person. A “remedy” is anything that supports repair, restoration and nourishment to the system, clears the way for the innate healing power to proceed, allow natural process.

Dr Eller strives to understand the deepest layer in a person that can be accessed, nourish what needs nourishing, support what needs to be supported, help move the obstacles to healing, to allow for the most powerful actions of the innate healing energy to act; to meet each person at a place they can access within themselves and offer strategies which are do-able and allow for growth and transformation; to offer possibilities while minimizing the potential for harm.

During her years in practice she has worked with people at many levels of health and disease conditions, supporting them in finding their path back to health.

Doctor Eller grew up in the New York City area, and began her career in a biotechnology laboratory studying drug delivery. She quickly realized her interest in human physiology and the variety of expressions of health.  She discovered Naturopathic medicine and moved across the country to study in Arizona.

“I am a plant lover, cat person with a passion for spiritual philosophies and practices. I love to read and discuss traditional and radical ideas about the human condition and potential-human health and medicine, sociology and psychology.  I love watching and discussing classic and extra-ordinary films, and music.  One of my favorite things to do is cook an interesting meal while my partner plays banjo at the kitchen table. I have two grown children who are my joy.”
